STRAWBERRY’S PORT AUTHORITY

Documenting the weekly changes of fashion on the mannequin displayed at the retail store Strawberry’s on the main floor of the South Terminal at The Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York.

For over five years in multiple weekly journeys through Port Authority I have been captivated by the mannequin displays at the fashion retail store “Strawberry’s”. My obsession of staking these life size models is that in many ways their realism has captured my fascination as both photographer and fashion editor in choosing weekly the fashion style they are wearing. This typology of the continuation of my photographic documentation is a very personal bonding with each of these models as their voyeur in the transition of seasonal wear. The Strawberry’s store closed permanently on January 31, 2019.
