PERFORMANCE- CIRCUS NOCK, 2019
In 2006 I began photographing the legendary Swiss Circus NOCK on my annual summer visits to Lenzerheide in the canton of Graubünden. I have always been fascinated in the act of performance, especially circuses. Documenting the beginnings of arrival of the circus trucks to the intimacy of the performers backstage as well as the moments between the shows, this series of images is a pictorial tribute to the 5th generation NOCK family circus which sadly met its demise in early 2019.
